Double-ply Polyester Alaska Flag (3 ft. x 5 ft.)
US made Alaska flag is constructed of 2-ply, 100% woven, spun polyester, this flag is engineered to be long lasting for industrial, commercial or institutional use where flown daily. Ideal wherever severe climactic conditions or high winds exist. Colors are bright and fade-resistant with a special weave to improve flying ability. This single reverse flag is dyed and finished with strong canvas headings and brass grommets. esigned in 1926 by thirteen-year-old orphan John Bell (Benny) Benson, the Alaska flag is a simple pattern of eight gold stars on a field of dark blue. The dark blue field is a tribute to the Alaskan sky and the forget-me-not flower. The larger star represents the North star, and the other stars make up the big dipper.
