Early-January FedEx Orange Bowl Classic. Tel: (305) 371-4600 This is an annual college bowl game that is hosted at Pro Player Stadium.

Late-December to Early-January Indian Arts Festival. Tel: (305) 223-8380
This is a Miccosukee Indian festival featuring arts and crafts along with the traditional Indian food.

Mid-January Art Deco Weekend. Tel: (305) 672-2014
hosted along the Ocean Drive in South Beach this is a street festival featuring Art Deco displays and tours of the historic district.

Mid-January Miami Jazz Festival. Listen to the best of Jazz at the festival featuring the world famous local and international jazz, blues, gospel and R&B performers at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami.

This University of Miami hosts the art show held by the jury every year at the Lowe Art Museum.
 

February

Mid-February Coconut Grove Art Festival. Tel: (305) 447-0401.
The festival creates a platform for the artists from all over the country. There is also lots of food and music.

Mid-February Miami International Boat Show and Sailboat Show. Find the watercraft of your dreams at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Miami Film Festival. Tel:(305) 377-3456 - The Film Society of Miami showcases independent foreign and American films every year at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts.

Early February Home Design and Remodeling Show. This show displays Florida's largest collection of the finest home furniture, accessories, decorating, remodeling, interior design, architecture and many home improvement services. It is held at the Coconut Grove Convention Center.
 

March

Early-March Miami Grand Prix. World famous car race, hosted at the Homestead Motor sports Complex.

Early-March Feast With The Beasts. Enjoy your meals from many of South Florida's finest restaurants and drink suppliers with the wilds of Metro zoo’s animal exhibits.

Early-March Doral Ryder Open Golf Tournament. This is an international golf tournament in which Top pro golfers compete.

Early March Calle Ocho Open House. Finale of the festival with a big street party on SW 8th Street, in the heart of the Cuban district.

Mid-March NASDAQ 100 Open. This is the world’s prestigious tennis tournament which was Formerly known as the Ericsson Open.
 

April

Early-April South Beach Film Festival. Eclectic films from around the world presented each year at the Colony Theatre.

Early-May Arabian Nights Festival. Tel: (305) 688-4611- This is a unique festival held every year in the Opa-Locka community.

Mid-May Coconut Grove Bed Race. A hilarious race that is used as a fundraiser for charities. The race starts from the Peacock Park through the streets of Coconut Grove.

July 4. America's Birthday Bash. Celebrate American independence day and watch the Concert and fireworks display at Bay front Park.

July 4.4th of July Extravaganza. Enjoy the fireworks display and concert on the grounds of the Biltmore Hotel.

Mid-July Colombian Festival. A celebration of Colombian cultural heritage.

Late-July Everglades Music and Crafts Festival. This is the festival when the native American bands perform along with crafts and food.

Early August Annual Miami Reggae Festival. Listen to the top bands that come from all over for this annual festival hosted at Bay front Park.
 

September

Mid-September Festival Miami. Tel:(305) 284-4940 The University of Miami School of Music hosts a series of concerts annually.

Late September Florida Marine Aquarium Show. Watch the marine life displayed in the tanks filled with fish, corals, etc, that are maintained by amateurs and professionals.

October

Early-October West Indian American Day Carnival Extravaganza. Tel:(305) 435-4845. A Caribbean Mardi Gras.

Early October Caribbean Carnival. Tel: (305) 653-1877 A carnival which includes a parade with the colorful costumes, steel bands and parades celebrating the Caribbean. It is presented by the Consulate of Trinidad and Tobago.

Hispanic Heritage Festival. Tel:(305) 541-5023. Celebration for the whole month that features role of the Hispanics in the development of the U.S. It takes place in different locations throughout Miami-Dade County.

Columbus Day Regatta. Tel: (305) 573-9592 More than 230 sailboats from over 15 classes sail from the North end of Biscayne Bay to the Southern end and back the following day.

Late-October Metro boo. A family oriented seasonal celebration at Metro zoo.

October 31st The Pro Player Stadium/Calder Race Course Halloween Bash. Tel: (305) 623-6286. Halloween Bash and Community Party that takes place at Pro Player Stadium.
 

November

Early-November Ramble-A Garden Festival. Tel: (305) 667-1651.The annual gardening festival presented by Fairchild Tropical Garden that features plants, garden accessories and activities for the whole family.

Early-November South Florida Auto Show. The latest car models on display for auto enthusiasts at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Early-November South Miami Art Festival. Tel:(305) 661-1621. Hosted along Sunset Drive in South Miami.

Mid-November Miami Bookfair International. Tel:(305) 237-3258.A cultural event promoting awareness of literature and books for all ages. Hosted at Miami-Dade Community College.

Late-November Harvest Festival. Showcasing craft booths, historical re-enactments, musical entertainment, antique automobiles and lot more at the Fair Expo Center.

Late-November Puerto Rican Festival. Celebrates Puerto Rican cultural heritage at Bay front Park.

Late-November Miami Lakes Country Holiday and Crafts Show.
Tel:(305) 817-4006 The craftsmen throughout Florida exhibit their work in this show. There's also country and western entertainment.

Thanksgiving Day Annual Winter National Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Tel: 305-893-6511. In this parade there are participants from all fields which include walkers, riders, bikers, clowns, beauty queens, bands and floats.

December

Mid-December World's Largest Indoor Flea Market. Claiming to be the world's largest, this event features over 1,000 booths filled with merchandise at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Late-December King Mango Strut. A light-hearted parody of the Orange Bowl parade.

Late-December The Nutcracker. This play is performed annually by the Miami City Ballet at the Jackie Gleason Theater and the other South Florida venues.

Through Early-January Santa's Enchanted Forest. A paradise for children when the Tropical Park becomes a brightly lit winter wonderland each season.

December 31Orange Bowl Parade. This is the most famous parade and is a tradition since 1939. This themed parade marches down Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami each year.
December 31Big Orange New Year's Eve Celebration. A great way to celebrate your New Years. Hosted at Bay Front Park.
