Bang Music Festival
Bang Music Festival is held in Miami's Bicentennial Park one the Saturday of the Thanksgiving in November. Money raised often goes to special causes, such as hurricane relief and the Red Cross.

Among the performing arts world, several Miami venues are said to be best of the best. Here are some of the favorites.
Carnival Center for the Performing Arts
Biscayne Boulevard between NE 13th and 14th Streets, Miami.
This crown jewel of the Miami performing arts scene recently debuted after years of fund raising and construction. The Ziff Ballet Opera House is home to the Florida Grand Opera and the Miami City Ballet. The Knight Concert Hall is the home venue of the New World Symphony and the Concert Association of Florida.
Actor’s Playhouse
280 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables.
Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre is one of Florida's major critically acclaimed non-profit cultural institutions. It has won recognition for Best Musical Theater in South Florida for four years running, and it has gotten recognition by the city and school board for its educational programs and community outreach.
Coconut Grove Playhouse
3500 Main Highway, Coconut Grove.
The Playhouse was home to the US premier of Waiting For Godot, and since has hosted several plays that have transferred to Broadway, such as The Big Love and Sunshine Boys.
GableStage
1200 Anastasia Avenue, Coral Gables.
Formerly known as The Florida Shakespeare Theater, GableStage has made its home all over Miami before settling into its new, permanent location at the Biltmore. GableStage presents both Shakespearean and original productions.
Gusman Center for the Performing Arts
174 East Flagler Street, Miami.
From its opening as a silent theater in 1926, the Gusman Center has wowed its audiences with the sheer atmosphere of the architecture. It is now home to The Florida Philharmonic, Maximum Dance Company and the Miami International Film Festival, to name just a few.
Jerry Herman Ring Theater
1380 Miller Drive, Coral Gables.
This theater on the University of Miami campus is mostly a venue for University-produced theater. These fantastic productions of up-and-comers are augmented by traveling troupes such as City Theatre, magic shows and improve theater.
New Theatre
4120 Laguna Street, Coral Gables.
This theater, founded in 1986 by a husband-and-wife team, contributes 20% of its audience to the students of Miami's schools and universities. The New Theatre is certainly bringing the theater to young people and keeping the arts alive for a new generation.
